Coach’s Choice to include warm-up and mobility work.

Skills and Drills: 35min

  • SNATCH – Complete both waves, begin with Wave 1 and then Wave 2. Wave 1: 80%, 85%, 90% of 1RM Snatch Wave 2: 85%, 90%, 95% of 1RM Snatch
  • 2 PAUSE DIP + JERK – Start at 80% of 1RM C&J. 5 sets 1 rep.
    EXECUTION Dip as per usual jerk depth and pause momentarily
    Reset to setup position and repeat paused dip
    Jerk from paused dip position and recover appropriately.
  • POWER CLEAN – Work to 80% of 1RM C&J for a single.  Then 3 drop set (-30lb) for 1 rep.

  • Snatch – 4 sets 3reps. Start at 65% of your 1RM Snatch
  • Military Press & Push Press. 4 sets Each set is 2 Military Press + 2 Push Press. Start at 50% of your 1RM Clean & Jerk.

After Skills and Drills

  • 3 sets 10reps Wide Grip Pull Ups
  • 3 sets 1min Flutter Kicks
  • 3 sets 15reps V-Ups with Med Ball (20/10)
  • 3 sets 30sec. (45/25) Isometric Back Extension
